Gloria Miller Allen and Linda Aman Art Exhibit
Gloria Miller Allen and Linda Aman presented their joint exhibit “Make Your Mark” at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls. The show was a great success, highlighted by a special evening event where Gloria and Linda completed a live demonstration. The artwork they finished that night was a collaborative piece, created with contributions from nearly everyone who attended the exhibit.

Anne Watson Sorensen invites you to her annual Open Studio & BOSCO event. This year it will be a “Collector’s Special Event” as Anne needs help clearing her walls to prepare for large scale explorations and new artwork. Sherrie Gregory’s watercolor painting (Lake Martin, LA) has been accepted into the Northwest Watercolor Society’s 85th Annual International Open Exhibition, to be held November 8 – December 1, 2025, at the Yuan Ru Art Center, in Bellevue, WA. Paintings were submitted by artists from 12 different countries.

Sue Johnston is pleased to be accepted into San Diego Watercolor Society International Exhibition opening October 1 and Watercolor West Also opening October 1, 2025.

Jessica L Bryant has work in several exhibits this month. Watercolor USA runs August 23 – October 11 at the Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin, MO.The 112th Annual Exhibition of the Allied Artists of America invitational exhibit at the Reading Museum (Reading, PA) is on display September 13, 2025 – January 11, 2026. Jessica had two paintings accepted into the Richeson75 International Art Competition for Landscape, Seascape, and Architecture. The exhibit is available to view online.

LAUREN JOHNSON will be participating again this year in the BOISE OPEN STUDIOS tour (boiseopenstudios.com) on the second weekend of the tour, October 11 and 12, Sat and Sun from 10-6 pm. Joyce Green will have her studio open for the BOSCO ( Boise Open Studios) event, Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th from 10-6. Her most recent works will be on view and here’s your chance to see how she works and ask questions. Karyn deKramer – Thrilled to have my painting ‘Sun-baked Ribs – Bald Eagle’ juried into the Artists for Conservation online exhibit and accompanying printed AFC Nature Book for 2025. The exhibit/book features artworks inspired by wildlife and nature created by 177 AFC artists from 16 countries. Hugh Mossman – I am delighted that my watercolor “Driftboat Fishermen “ has been accepted into the Northwest Watercolor Society’s 85th annual international open exhibition to be held November 8 through December 1, 2005 at the Yuan Ru art center in Bellevue, Washington. Pam Grant will be showing her abstract art at the Art Source Gallery. A must see beautiful space located at 1516 W. Grove St. Boise. The gallery is open from Monday through Saturday, 10 to 6. The First Thursday they are open until 9 pm.

New exhibition, Large Men with Small Brushes, will feature the watercolors of Don Belts, Roy Gover, Dennis Hayzlett, Hugh Mossman, and Scott Muscolo. Meet the artists at the Opening Reception at Initial Point Gallery, 3rd Floor of Meridian City Hall, 33 E Broadway Ave, Meridian ID 83642, on Tues, Sep 2, 2025, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Plenty of parking all around Meridian City Hall. There will be light refreshments. There will also be a Watercolor Demonstration held in the gallery Tues, Sep 16, 2025, 5:30 to 7:00 PM. This will be a free, live demonstration of watercolor hosted by the artists as a part of Meridian Art Week. The Exhibit will run through Fri, Oct 31, 2025.
