This month only…  You have two weeks this month to send in your announcement. Deadline Nov 24  If you send it before Nov 12 you will receive the usual personal reply/confirmation (“I will get this in”) from me.  If you send it in the last week Nov 13 – 23 you will receive an automated reply from my email  (auto response: Your IWS SW announcement has arrived in the correct email folder…) I will be away and offline Nov 13 -23.  I will do my best to get your announcement handled. We meet downstairs in the Music Room 

Parking is available in the lower lot.

Having trouble with a painting?…bring it.

Exhibits:

–Gary McCall – November at the Gem Center. TVAA , “VIV-ID show”

–

Mary Gardiner will have two paintings in the Viv-ID exhibit at the Gem Center for the Arts, 2417 Bank Drive, Boise, (reception announcement forthcoming) and two paintings in the PAPI exhibit at the Riverside Hotel.

–

Scott Muscolo -In case you missed the debut of “Large Men with Small Brushes” at the Initial Point Gallery in Meridian, do not despair! You will be able to view a slightly larger exhibit from this same motley crew at the Riverside Hotel’s Water’s Edge Gallery from November 4 to December 1.   Big time art by large men!  Please come and tell your friends!

Sue Johnston is happy to announce that her paintings, Abandoned and Ruby Mountains have been selected to show in the Friedman Memorial Airport winter exhibition in Hailey, Idaho. The opening reception is Nov 19, 5:00-7:00

Anne Watson Sorensen was thrilled to have her painting “It Takes a Village 1” be awarded the Best Watercolor at the Eagle Plein Air event in October. She is also grateful to all those who attended her October BOSCO Open Studio.  She invites everyone to attend the PAPI show at the Riverside Hotel’s River’s Edge Gallery opening on November 7th.

Linda Aman – In Person Watercolor Classes– Star, Idaho Come join us, learn the creative use of watercolor, and strengthen your paintings. Bring a painting you are working on, or Linda can provide a project. Materials are available for use in class, and you are welcome to bring your own. All levels welcome. Date: Monday November 3rd, and Monday 17th 1:00pm-4:00pm. Price $35 per class.  Email for address in Star, Idaho. To sign up  Email linda@amanarts.com

Master Art Classes Online Live – Linda Aman – Online Masters Watercolor Lessons with Zoom Tuesdays (usually every other week) Similar to us in person “open paint” sessions, you can share what you are currently creating.  Just email a painting in progress to Linda the day before class. Artists are learning from all the critiques and each artist’s paintings. Wide variety of art. You will have instruction, personal critique, and paint time during class. Tuesdays November 4th  and 18th .  Price $30 per class. Times 9:00am-12:00pm or 6:00pm-9:00 (MST)   Email to register linda@amanarts.com   These are Master Level Classes on Zoom. Contact me for more information. We have a few openings. (I am looking to open a Beginners/Intermediate Level Class on-line, let me know if you are interested).

Exhibit:

Large Men with Small Brushes continues their exhibition at the Initial Point Gallery on the third floor of city hall in Meridian through the month of October.  The “men” are Dennis Hayzlett, Don Belts, Scott Muscolo, Roy Gover and Hugh Mossman.  The gallery is open during business hours M-F.
