Stage Coach Theatre Curating Season 46 Artists

By All IWS Info, Events

Hello IWS,

The Stage Coach Gallery, the visual arts program in the lobby of Stage Coach Theatre in Boise, is now curating artists for Season 46.

The Stage Coach Gallery pairs original work by local artists with each of their eight productions, where visual art and live theatre share the same stage. The heart of it is simple: 100% of every artwork sale goes directly to the artist, with no fees and no commission, and each artist’s work is seen by hundreds of engaged patrons across a show’s run. IWS watercolorists would be a wonderful fit, and they theme-match work to shows across the season.

Email thestagecoachgallery@gmail.com by July 31 for first consideration. #BoiseArt #IdahoArtists #TreasureValleyArts #CallForArtists #SupportLocalArtists

Phishing email scam

By All IWS Info

We’ve apparently been hacked by some agency that might be trying to spread malware.

Please DO NOT respond to an email that includes the following heading: Special Event Invitation from [     ]. Please don’t miss Out! (please join us for a potluck dinner). The email may be a phishing scam (fraudulent communication). Just delete the email – do NOT open the invitation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A few spots remain to paint in a lavender farm – Eagle, ID.

By All IWS Info

I wanted to send a special invitation to all IWS members for a wonderful FREE opportunity to paint at a local lavender field in July. The family that owns this wonderful lavender farm in Eagle is retiring, so this may be the last opportunity to paint plein air in such a beautiful location. They are allowing 10-15 artists to paint in the fields during their two events. Find more information by opening this link.

All you need to do is email wendy@redchairlavender to reserve your place and receive further information.

Hope to see everyone there!
