SW Members Exhibits and Workshops/Classes for December

Exhibits:

Gary Mccall – Retrospective at the Riverside. TVAA continues at the Gem Center. Christmas decorations auction at Capitol Contemporary Gallery, to support the Camp Rainbow.

Carrie Cornils – Seven pieces will be displayed upstairs at the Riverside Waters Edge Gallery for November and December. The opening reception is Friday December 5, 2025 at 5:30 – 7:30.

Ongoing class for silk scarves and glass ball ornaments available by request for one person or small groups up to three. Call or text Carrie 208-870-8788.

Mary Gardiner -donation fine art holiday ornament to benefit Camp Rainbow Gold First Thursday December 4 5-9 pm downtown Boise at Capitol Contemporary Gallery. Also, Riverside Hotel retrospective exhibit, TVAA Purple at Initial Point, and the Gem Center for the Arts Viv-ID exhibit continues. So many fun, free activities for everyone.

Connie Pepper currently has work on display at the Meridian and Boise locations of Idaho Art Gallery.  The works include prints on cards and bamboo blocks.   Single greeting cards called  “Dictionary Pages”  have gouache paintings of flowers on dictionary pages naming the artwork.  A second artwork option at the Galleries include unique flower or animal art print on bamboo blocks.  The solid 5” x 5”  blocks can be easily displayed on the wall, or stand on a table or desk.

Susan Kluksdal will be the featured artist at Eagle City Hall for the month of December.  The building is open during business hours, 9:00 to 5:00 weekdays.  Please stop by and see what I have been painting!

Anne Watson Sorensen is delighted to return as the featured artist at Boise’s St. Luke’s Gallery Wall –  Dec 3 – Jan 1.  The show will move to the Meridian St Luke’s Gallery Wall Jan 2-Jan 31.

Workshops/ Classes:

Linda Aman – In Person Watercolor Classes– Star, Idaho. Come join us, learn the creative use of watercolor, and strengthen your paintings. Bring a painting you are working on, or Linda can provide a project. Materials are available for use in class, and you are welcome to bring your own. All levels welcome. Date: Monday December 8th, and December 15th 1:00pm-4:00pm. Price $35 per class.  Email for address in Star, Idaho. To sign up  Email linda@amanarts.com 

Master Art Classes Online Live – Linda Aman – Lessons on Zoom Tuesdays (usually every other week) Similar to in person “open paint” sessions, where you can share what you are currently creating. Email a painting in progress to Linda the day before class. You will have instruction and paint time during class. Artists learn from a wide variety of art. All the critiques and suggestions from each artist’s paintings will increase your knowledge. Tuesdays December 9th and 16th   Price $30 per classTimes 9:00am-12:00pm or 6:00pm-9:00 (MST)   Email to register linda@amanarts.com   These are Master Level Classes on Zoom. Contact me for more information. IWS Holiday Gathering

IWS Membership Card

IWS Membership Card

Current members can obtain their membership card either from our website or during the online membership renewal process.

To obtain your membership card from the website, you will need to log on to your account using your username and password. Your username is your email. If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset it from the login screen by selecting the Forgot Password link.

Once you have logged on, the menu at the top will have a Members option. Hovering over that menu option will display “My Membership Info. Need a Copy? Print Membership Card.”

Note, that for current members and those that have renewed their membership for 2026, you will see two blue “Generate Your Membership Card” options in your membership information page. The top one will be the most current, for 2026. On January 1, 2026, the option to print your 2025 membership card will be removed.

When you click on the “Generate Your Membership Card” button, an email will be sent to you with the card. You can download the attached file to your computer, copy it to your phone, or print the card using your printer. If printing to an HP printer, no scaling should be required.
