SW Members Exhibits and Workshops/Classes for June 

Exhibits:

Carrie Cornils – I will have a display at the Art and roses festival on Sunday, June 7 from 10 to 4.  I will have a display at the Meridian fine arts festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28th. Please stop by and say hello!!

Gary Mccall – The Riverside Hotel, Waters Edge gallery has me up as the featured artist for June.  The show, “a little more history of Garden City.” First Friday reception.

Mary Gardiner will be showing Lyrical With Yellow art exhibit at Garden Plaza at Valley View retirement home, 1130 N Allumbaugh St, Boise 83704. A reception Wednesday June 10, 5-7 pm. Mary would love to see you there.

Linda Aman- I am honored to share that my painting Crossroads received Judge’s Choice Award in the Professional Division at the Nampa Art Guild show, judged by Pam Grant.

Linda Aman-I am pleased to announce my painting “Beyond the Rim of Light” has been accepted into the Idaho Watercolor Society Annual Juried Exhibition. The show is held at The Riverside Hotel 2900 W Chinden Blvd, Garden City. April 30^th -June 27^th. The Award ceremony will be June 2^nd 6:30-8:15 open to the public.

Renee Galligher – Renee is pleased to announce her painting “Stolle Meadows I”, a poured watercolor, has been accepted into the Idaho Watercolor Society Annual Juried Exhibition. The show is being held at The Riverside Hotel 2900 W Chinden Blvd, Garden City. April 30^th – June 27^th. The Award ceremony will be June 2^nd 6:30-8:15 open to the public.

Renee is also pleased to announce her painting, “Rhubarb Beauty,” a poured watercolor, received Third Place in the Professional Division, in the Nampa Art Guild Annual Spring Show held at the Nampa Public Library April 27^th – May 5^th.

Anne Watson Sorensen invites you to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with BOSCO Artists sharing their vision of “The Pursuit of Happiness”.  Come to the Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery (3rd floor) May 20th through Friday, July 31st, 2026.  A free opening reception will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 4:30-7:00.  Exhibition is free and open 8-5:00 Mon-Friday, excluding holidays.  33 E Broadway Ave. I have 3 paintings in this group show.

Anne Watson Sorensen invites you to Sun Valley’s Friedman Memorial Airport now through October to view the new juried exhibition.  Family Circle 2 and Euphoria 3 were selected for this exciting show.  1616 Airport Circle, Hailey, ID .

Find Anne Watson Sorensen’s artwork and prints at the Redfish Gallery at the Sawtooth Interpretive Center from June 1 – Sep 1.  Portions are donated to the Jr Ranger program and furthering Sawtooth educational programs.  Just down from the Redfish Lake Lodge in the Sawtooth Mountains.

Anne Watson Sorensen is delighted to be included in the IWS Juried Exhibition and Founder’s Show at the Riverside Gallery now through July.  IWS was instrumental in my learning and growth as a beginning watercolor artist over 30 years ago! That great learning path began as a volunteer!  (Hint, hint). Exhibits:

Callie Zamzow – I will have a painting in the Idaho Watercolor Society’s 42th Annual Rotunda Show in March.

Shelly Johnson is pleased to share that her painting, “Beau at Easter”, was accepted into the Western Federation of Watercolor Society’s 51st Annual Juried Show. WFWS51 will be hosted by the Colorado Watercolor Society. The exhibition opens May 9, 2026 and shows to June 27, 2026 at the Curtis Center for the Arts in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Beth Trott– The 42nd Annual Capitol Rotunda Art Show.  I’m excited to be both organizing and participating in the IWS 42nd Annual Capitol Rotunda Art Show at the Idaho State Capitol where I’ll be exhibiting my watercolor painting “The Family That Digs Together”. An artists’ reception will be held March 21, (11am–2pm) so be sure to invite your friends and family. I hope to see everyone there!

Beth Trott – Idaho Falls 18th Annual National Juried Exhibition. I am proud to announce that my watercolor painting “Before the Music” has been accepted into the Idaho Falls Arts Council’s National Juried Exhibition, a multi-media show featuring artists from around the country. The exhibition opens March 19 with a public reception that evening.

Joyce Green has a painting “Persistence of Pine Triptych”  accepted in the 17th Annual Signature Watermedia Exhibition at the Fallbrook Art Center in Fallbrook, California.  The Show will be open March 21, 2026 through April 18th.  Joyce will also have her work featured on this year’s Trailing of the Sheep Festival poster!  More about this in future!

Idaho State Capitol – Rotunda Show- Idaho Watercolor Society 700 W. Jefferson St., Boise. March 21^st-27^th Reception: March 21^st 11:00-2:00 open to the public, refreshments served at reception. Linda Aman has a painting in this show “New Beginnings” with other members of IWS.

Linda Aman’s sculpture “Seafloor Lace” is juried into the 18^th Annual National Juried Exhibition Idaho Falls Willard Art Center, Carr Gallery. 498 A St. Idaho Falls.  Reception and Awards 6:30pm March 19^th.

Debra Bruner will be sharing her watercolor work in Great Falls, Montana, March 19–22, during the Legends West Art Show at the Shonkin Events Center.

Debra Bruner will have three watercolors on display at the Waters Edge Gallery located in the Riverside Hotel, Boise. The Catwalk event runs March through April. Artist reception, meet and greet is held April 3^rd from 5:30-7:30 pm.

 Join Linda for a hands-on workshop exploring the look of rust, corrosion, and texture using unusual color choices and granulating paint techniques. Instruction is step-by-step, with individual guidance throughout the day. Reference materials and select art supplies will be available in class. Shelly Johnson is pleased to share that her painting, “Girl with Shoes”, has been accepted into Western Colorado Watercolor Society’s 36th Annual Rockies West National Exhibition. The Rockies West National Exhibition will be held from March 6 to April 3, 2026 at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Carol HasBrouck Browning – “Faces” is a show at the Riverside in Garden City. Roy Gover, Joni Fry and Carol HasBrouck Browning are showing their very different styles of portraits at the Riverside during January and February. Artists Reception is Friday night February 6th. 5:30 a7:30.

IWS Show-College of Eastern Idaho IWS show. February 2^nd-27^th. 1600 S 25^th E, Idaho Falls, Christofferson Building B. Linda Aman has a painting in the show with other artists of IWS.

Gloria Miller Allen and Linda Aman will have a two woman show at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho.  Opening is July 24, and it will run through late September.  They will debut their book. CLEVER ENDEVORS at their exhibit.  The book will sell for 35.00. Sold through Amazon. The book is educational, has full color images of their work; with mini essays, poetry, inspiring words, personal stories,, and bits of humor.
