Joining dozens of watercolor artists, Jack Dykstra attended the Fabriano in Acquarello in Watercolor event, October 14 – 18 in Fort Worth, Texas. Featuring 3 full days of demos (27 total) by well-known watercolor artists from the U.S. and several foreign nations; an exhibit of 1,000 half-sheet watercolor paintings from 80 nations; discussion panels and art supplier booths made this a remarkable event. Fabriano, Italian paper maker since 1264, and sponsoring the event in Italy for 15 years, brought it this year to the U.S. for the first time. We can only hope that they will come here again.
