2025 Annual Capitol Rotunda Show – March 1-14

This beloved exhibition transforms the Idaho State Capitol into a vibrant showcase of talent, community, and creativity—bringing together artists and viewers alike in celebration of watercolor.  The Rotunda Show offers Idaho Watercolor Society members a unique opportunity to share their work with the public in one of the state’s most distinguished venues.  The opening reception is on March 8, 2025.

IWS 2025 Annual Juried Membership Exhibition Art Call entry registration begins February 1 – March 20.

Carrie Cornils – I am proud to announce my work Fall Aspens was juried into the 2025 Sears Art Museum Annual Show and Sale in St. George, UT.  Also, my work will be featured at the Riverside Gallery in March and April 2025.

 

Pam Grant – The Seattle Convention Center has invited Northwest Watercolor Society back for a Signature Exhibition beginning January 23, and running through July 15, 2025. Pam Grant’s art ‘Palouse 1″ is among 63 Signature and Gold Medal Fellowship members. 85 pieces to be on display in the Phyllis Lamphere Gallery on level 2 of the Arch Bldg located at 705 Pike Street, Seattle, WA. The show will also be online at www.nwws.org.

Anne Watson Sorensen has a painting juried into the Sun Valley Airport Nov 5 – May 2025 called “Whispered Cast #2”.  She is thrilled that her IWS award-winning Traveling Show painting “Abundance” was sold in Idaho Falls.

Jack Dykstra will have two paintings at the invitational FOR Fine Art Gallery Smaller Works Show and Sale, Whitefish, MT, December 13, 2024 – January 18, 2025.Exhibit at gallery and online at: FoRFineArt.com. Jack is participating in the Montana Watercolor Society, Signature Member Exhibit and Sale.

Frankie Sims  – Has been accepted as one of the 12 artists to be an artist-of-the-month at St. Alphonsus Medical Center’s Boise Campus in 2025. The month of Frankie’s exhibit will be announced at a later date.

Shelly Johnson will be showing three paintings from her Urban Flowers series at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City during the month of December. This show includes Riverside Hotel past and future featured artists and runs from December 6th to January 5th.

Jean Ah Fong is displaying her paintings at the “Healing Wall” at  St. Alphonsus on Curtis through the month of December. Park as if you were going to the emergency entrance, and enter the East entrance. Paintings on the healing wall are intended to be calming and uplifting, so there won’t be any leopards!  Come and be healed!

Ilse Schreiner will be showing a dozen paintings new this year at the Boise Senior Center in December.
