Admin Panel: Honorary Fulltime Student Membership Assignment

This section is specifically designed for administrators to award Honorary Fulltime Student Memberships to deserving students. This honorary membership acknowledges the dedication and passion of students towards the arts, offering them full access to the vibrant Idaho Watercolor Society community without the standard membership fee.

Membership Benefits Overview:

• State Residency: While all watercolor painters with a primary residence in Idaho are typically eligible for active membership, the Honorary Fulltime Student Membership bypasses the need for dues payment as a token of our appreciation for their exceptional contributions.
• Active Status Requirements: Honorary Fulltime Student Members are exempt from the requirement to enter work in a society-sponsored show every three years but are encouraged to participate actively in our community’s events and exhibitions.
• Voting and Board Eligibility: These members shall not have voting privileges and are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
• Membership Beyond Idaho: Should an Honorary Fulltime Student Member move out of Idaho, they are entitled to maintain their honorary membership without the annual dues requirement until the end of the honorary term, acknowledging their ongoing commitment to the IWS.For Administrators:

The Honorary Fulltime Student Membership is a special designation aimed at supporting and nurturing the artistic growth of students. While this membership typically costs $15, it is provided at no cost to the student under this honorary status, assuming full-time student status is maintained.

When assigning this membership, please ensure the student’s eligibility and maintain accurate records to reflect their honorary status.
