Admin Panel: Honorary Dual IWS and PAPI Member Assignment
As administrators, you have the unique role of integrating artists into our esteemed communities. This registration form is designed for enrolling new members into the Dual Membership program, which combines the rich benefits of the Idaho Watercolor Society (IWS) and Plein Air Painters of Idaho (PAPI), offering an unparalleled experience for those passionate about watercolor and plein-air painting.
Eligibility and Benefits:
- State Residency: While all watercolor painters with a primary residence in Idaho are typically eligible for active membership, the Honorary Dual IWS and PAPI Membership bypasses the need for dues payment as a token of our appreciation for their exceptional contributions.
- Active Status Requirements: Honorary Dual IWS and PAPI Members are exempt from the requirement to enter work in a society-sponsored show every three years but are encouraged to participate actively in our community’s events and exhibitions.
- Voting and Board Eligibility: These members shall not have voting privileges and are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
- Membership Beyond Idaho: Should an Honorary Dual IWS and PAPI Member move out of Idaho, they are entitled to maintain their honorary membership without the annual dues requirement until the end of the honorary term, acknowledging their ongoing commitment to the IWS.
For Administrators:
While this Dual Membership is typically priced at $90, offering tremendous value for artists seeking to engage deeply with Idaho’s vibrant art scene, please note that for honorary members selected for their exceptional contributions or achievements, this fee is waived. When registering an honorary member, ensure all information is accurately entered to grant them immediate access to the full spectrum of benefits and opportunities available, without any cost to them.
